Gordon Fee really makes me mad. OK, not really. But he has made me do something I would rather not do. His commentary on First Corinthians is so good, I mark in it. When it comes to commentaries I would rather not mark in them, but this one is so good I end up marking in it.
I have not been thoroughly consistent with this rule. In school, when writing, a paper I would highlight in commentaries. I do not do that as much. Gordon Fee has caused me to abandon this. I've accepted the fact that resistance is futile.
So, he makes me mad, but in a good way.

I get mad with some of my commentaries as well.
Fee is so great it's impossible to not want to highlight and mark up his books and commentaries since he writes so many things you want to remember.
I bet his 1 Corinthians lectures are really good too : )

Stan, yup. Good commentaries can do that to you.
Bryan, sorry I've been such a bad friend. I'll get them to you soon.
I am mad I don't own that commentary.
